From the friendly and helpful reception ladies to the caring and professional nursing team, and everyone in between, the staff at the Delmanor Glen Abbey were family to my mother for over 11 years. She loved being involved with the committees, participating in the fitness and entertainment activities and also just spending quiet time in her beautiful suite. But, in the end, it was the people who made the difference, and for that we are forever grateful.

No one wants to live in a retirement home. This often becomes mandatory in one's later years. If/when it does, Delmanor Glen Abbey is as good as it gets. The staff are excellent and go out of their way to make this a home in the true sense of the word.

Delmanor Glen Abbey is a beautiful retirement home located in the heart of Oakville. The staff are so professional and caring, as no detail is to small to overcome. They will go out of their way to not only make you feel welcomed, but to accommodate your every need. I would highly recommend this retirement home for anyone who is looking for a place where their family member, loved one, neighbour or friend can live with additional support. While still being able to maintain their independence and dignity in a beautiful surrounding that has scrumptous meals, fantastic activities and wonderful care.

My Mom has been at Delmanor Glen Abbey for several years now, and loves it. My strongest impression is of the staff’s complete professionalism and dedication to the care of their residents. But at the same time they don’t lose sight of the personal touch. This has been particularly true during the pandemic, when the whole Delmanor team struck the perfect balance between adhering to all the regulations while they were in force, but at the same time making sure that the quality of life for their community was impacted to the minimum. They really have been exemplary. Five stars is simply not enough.

This is the best Retirement Home in Glen Abbey, Staff are friendly, I have known a few of the Residents that live at Delmanor and love being there, Monique Kuhn is one of the most amazing Managers there and she so great to work with if you have a upcoming event. I hosted a golf tournament and not only was Delmanor Glen Abbey a Hole Sponsor they also had a 4some play in the tournament too. Last year I provided Hot Meals for dinner for all the front line staff at Delmanor Glen Abbey with the the Rotary Club of Oakville West. The Staff there are all Amazing too!! So Glad to have this kind of Retirement Home in the Glen Abbey area of Oakville! So if you are ever looking for a place to send your love one check out Delmanor you won't be disappointed, You feel so welcomed when you walk in the front door by everyone!

My 95 year old mother has lived at Delmanor for 4 years, and I am so happy we found such a warm and friendly community for her. I love visiting with the other residents and staff when I go to see my mother, and I feel confident she is being well taken care of. As I walk down the hall with her, people stop to chat, the staff at the front desk ask her about her day and whether she is going for a walk, the dining room staff are aware of her food likes and dislikes, and the nursing staff greet her with warm smiles and news of the day when they come by to give her her medication. The staff have been amazing in addressing her needs during COVID, letting me know when she has run out of supplies, keeping me informed of any physical ailments, and conducting video calls during the lockdown so we can see each other. The staff have gone overboard over the last year to make sure the residents remained safe, and did their best to make life fun with socially distanced activities. I am so glad that my mother had such caring staff to help her through this very challenging year when family visits were difficult, and I cannot begin to express how much I appreciate our "Delmanor Family" for keeping my mother safe and happy.

My father has been a resident of the Delmanor Glen Abbey community for over 5 years. He loves his suite, especially the view from his living room window :) He loves the staff and enjoys the company of his fellow residents. They are all like family to him. He loves the neighborhood and going for walks. Everyone from the Concierge desk, Administration, Health and Wellness, Recreation, Culinary, Housekeeping and Maintenance teams treat him with the upmost respect, care and compassion. You are all phenomenal!! You won't find a better place for your loved ones to call home.

My parents have been living at the Delmanor for the past 8 years and each year gets better. Even during these trying times, the entire team continually gives more than 100% to make sure they and all the residents are doing well. The most recent renovations have been completed and the Delmanor not only looks fantastic, it is also modern and very elegant. My parents enjoy the activities and programs offered, even now with some things moved to the Del Manor in house TV channel. In the summer the gardens are beautiful and the Bocce Ball games cannot be missed. The chefs always come up with special treats for every time of the year. The variety here is plentiful. The entire team hold a very special place in my parents hearts and ours as well. On behalf of our whole family, Thank you everyone for everything you do. An amazing and caring team! We highly recommend the Delmanor Glen Abbey!

Warm friendly atmosphere. Lots of daily activities & exercise classes. Beautiful patio garden which the residents love to attend, making Glen Abbey Delmanor a truly special place to live.

Delmanor Glen Abbey is a top notch retirement residence! The building itself is newly renovated, the food is great and there is always something fun going on. The residents and team members are both so friendly and welcoming. I would feel comfortable having any of my loved ones living here.

This is a great retirement residence. Expensive to live there if you don't have the money but excellent and they treat their residents very well.
